"Casablanca" is one of those movies that remains powerful no matter how often you have seen it. It also is a movie that will never become outdated. I'm sure that I'll still watch this movie with just as much pleasure in 50 years from now.

"Casablanca" is a great mix of a love-story and a war movie. The danger, tension and feeling of WW II are notable throughout the entire movie. The love-story is beautifully portrayed in the midst of all the danger. The movie features several subplots and the movie has surprising many layers. The dialog is superb and the movie has some truly quotable lines. The movie and its story will surely constantly keep your attention. It's both tense and romantic and the ending is a real classic. It has got to be one of the best movie endings of all time! Absolutely wonderful!

A wonderful addition to the atmosphere of the movie is the now classic song; 'As Time Goes By' by Herman Hupfeld. It fits beautifully in the movie and plays a quite important role in the story.

Perhaps the reason why the story works so well is because of the fine cast. Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman are two splendid leading actors, with some great chemistry and are supported by strong supporting actors such as Claude Rains, Paul Henreid, Conrad Veidt and Peter Lorre.

Really a both powerful and beautiful movie that will NEVER lose any of its strength, mark my words! A timeless classic.

10/10
